Cruiser's Story

Cruiser was rescued from a Puppymill at 10 weeks of age. Cruiser developed an eye infection after birth, probably before his eyes were open. Due to the fact that he did not get any treatment, Cruiser's corneas are ruptured and he is blind.

While Cruiser was a special needs dogs many generous people supported his care. One of the most special were the 6th and 7th grade students from Holy Cross Catholic School in Indianapolis, IN.

In May 2004, Cruiser went to his forever home and it has been a perfect match! Cruiser is expected to have a wonderful life even without his sight.
