Redfords Story

Dear Friends,
It has ben a while sinse i last wrot. i am havin the bestist time of my life. the many new experinces like loud bangs and fire in the sky, mommi sezs it's 4th of juli and we selebrate our freedoms. i partied too since im now free. then we had "hot dogs" on labor day, yes all my k9 family too enjoyed the treats.

Then in oktober i went on vacashun to. how neat to load up the whole gang and go east to dewey beach delaware. it was for all greyhounds and owners. even tho im not tall and longlegged all made me feel welcome. we walked the beech and all i saw was water, much more the the water hole (pond) we have at home. of all places to stay we had 3rd flor, lots of steps, but daddi carried me up and down everytime, yes i was on a real vacashun.

Then in october the last part, mommi brought me this new hard to see suit and hat. i was not used to it but i have complete trust / faith in my parents cuz they take good care of me. we went to pet store where i shopped befor and other doggies were dressed up too, some scary lookin. it was halloween. some women took my pictures as i was dressed as a soldier. i did my attenshun stand and aboutface circle to impress all. well, YES. i won 1st place , they gave me a plastic card and said i could buy anything in the store next time i come in. i felt 4 feet high.

all of this is only possible because of you nice people who took me in at a time in my life when things were not good for me. i know i was a problem dog, but your help and support not just for me but all the others you help. no more sleeping outside on, cold nites for me and never a day i go hungry and yes the rubbing of ears and belli i get everyday, i am so luckey.

i know another special day is soon as i have a box with pretty bow and my name on it, my sisters and me sniff them all. i will try to send more pictures soon. again my thanks goes to all of you for helping me and wat you do to help others. i have this smile on my face and a happi tail every day cuz momi and daddi are so good to me. i have to go now suppertime, yum.. wishing you all "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" from ohio. PS i also got this new buggy i sit in and mommi pushes me, the others are to big to get in and they say im spoiled, oh well.lol byee, wil send sum vacashun pix soon REDFORD.
