Zsa Zsa & Ava's Story

Zsa and Ava were mother and daughters seen tossed like garbage along an Illinois Highway.  Spotted by a passing car, one passenger jumped out to give aid to the girls, while the driver raced off after such horrible people.  Sadly, they were unable to catch up with the speeding car.  They reported the incident to the police who were unable to do little to catch the criminals.  The girls were taken to an animal hospital for minor medical needs (a miracle in itself!) and from there, WRM was contacted.  WRM took care of the vetting while we waited the legal time limit until we could safely pull them into the rescue to prepare them to be re homed.  Zsa Zsa and Ava
showed the true terrier personality and recovered wonderfully.

They were adopted by Todd and Hollie from Mississippi.  Today they are beautiful Westies with a life filled with love and devotion!  They will never be tossed aside like garbage again!

Todd and Hollie write:

We love to just sit and watch them and how they react with us and each other. Zsa-Zsa is definitely daddy's girl, and Ava is momma's girl. They are sooooo good. Not hyper or temperamental at all.  Everyone comments on that. We love them to death.
